Round-Up Part 2: Wizard World, Flashback Weekend, Kitley’s Drive-In

Published August 24, 2012 by biggayhorrorfan

Here’s amazing queer filmmaker Jason Paul Collum (October Moon, November Son) publicizing his soon-to-be released, truly incredible documentary Screaming In High Heels, which explores the lives of scream queen legends Michelle Bauer, Linnea Quigley and Brinke Stevens, at Flashback Weekend 2012.

Don’t these three just make you want to create a demented circus of your very own? These crazed, white faced jokesters scared the wits out of Flashweek Weekend guest Scout Taylor Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween, Wicked Little Things)- a testament to their spooky awesomeness!

Here’s the soulful Meg Foster with a grateful fan. Foster’s legacy is amazing (They Live, Stepfather 2, The Osterman Weekend, Welcome to Arrow Beach, Shrunken Heads, the upcoming Lords of Salem) and she is one of the most organic, down to earth people that Big Gay Horror Fan has been lucky enough to meet.

Usually when I think about Dead Weight it’s with concern over my burgeoning love handles. Fortunately, the apocalyptic horror film Dead Weight is better than a month’s supply of Jenny Craig coupons. Here the guys behind that magic piece pose with Chad Hawks from Studio Boo after our traffic defying video interview! (Stay tuned for that piece of manic mayhem!)

And, yes, there is more to come! Until then – SWEET love and pink GRUE! – and be sure to check me out at!/BigGayHorrorFan, as well!
